Feb. 3rd, 2010
In support of Ballet Yuma, Yuma Investment Group Wealth Management will present the third annual ‘Art for the Heart’ gala event from 7 to 10pm on February 20 at Anthony’s Uptown, 2100 S 4th Ave. The festive Valentine’s related event will feature fine dining, decadent desserts, a variety of wines, a silent auction, live entertainment, and a special performance by Ballet Yuma. All proceeds will go to benefit Ballet Yuma. More information and tickets, which are $75 per couple, $40 individually, are available at (928) 246-1450.
Items obtainable in the silent auction will include a variety of works of art which are the inspiration for the ‘Art’ portion of the event’s title. Many local merchants and patrons have also donated intriguing non-artwork items to be included in the annually anticipated Art for the Heart auction.
Ballet Yuma, a non-profit education and performance organization, is recognized as consistently outstanding on a national level, and has been under the artistic direction of Jon Cristofori and Kathleen Sinclair for sixteen years. The company’s scholarship program, which benefits from this event, helps pay the cost of classes, performance fees, and materials for dancers in need of financial assistance.
